For getting admission in LLB course(three years course), you must have to qualify graduation course in any stream. You are not eligible for LLB course just after completion of 12th standard. However if you want to apply for BA LLB(5 years course), then you are eligible to apply BA LLB after completion of 12th standard.

There are two types of LLB course that can be pursued. One is a five year LLB course that can be done after giving 10+2 exam. This course can be pursued by anyone. You just need to have 50% of marks in aggregate at +2 level. To pursue this course your age has to be within 20 years. One of the top entrance exam for this is CLAT. Other such equally popular entrance exams are AILET - NLU Delhi, LSAT India, SET, Christ University and so on.

But since you are about to finish your B.Sc degree therefore I would recommend you to go for the second type of LLB course which can be done after graduation. Its duration is three years. To apply for this course you need to have 45% of marks in aggregate. The top universities might ask for 50% of marks or more.

It should be remembered that you should not do LLB course through correspondence. Bar Council of India does not approves that course. Top 3 year LLB course colleges:-
  • Law School, Faculty of Law, Benaras Hindu University
  • Faculty of Law, University of Kolkata
  • Faculty of Law, Allahabad University
  • Department of Law, Punjab University
  • National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS)
  • The Army Institute of Law (AIL)
  • Faculty of Law, Gujarat University

No, you are eligible for admission in LLB course. LLB stand for Bachelor of Law and it is three year course after bachelor degree.

So, you can appear for examination to get admission in course. There is no age limit or gap year bar after bachelor degree to appear for examination to get admission in course.
