Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET)

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is an entrance examination conducted every year by Anna University on behalf of Tamil Nadu Government. TANCET is for admission in M.Tech/M.E./MBA/MCA/M.Arch/M.Plan programs. The candidates appearing in this entrance test need to cover the mentioned syllabus in order to qualify the exam and get admission in various institutes for various postgraduate programs. There are plenty of books available in the market to get better knowledge about all the streams which help to gather best knowledge about their syllabus. TANCET is the most popular examination for aspirants in Tamil Nadu who wants to pursue Post Graduation in professional courses in Tamil Nadu. This exam is conducted in various centers of India in order to provide comfort to the students.

TANCET Eligibility

MBA: A pass in any recognised Bachelor’s degree with 10 + 2 + 3 or 4 years or a pass in any degree with 10 + 3 years diploma + 3 years pattern.

MCA: a) A pass in any recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration (10 + 2 + 3 / 4 years pattern) in any discipline with core Mathematics (or) Business Mathematics at +2 level or A pass in any recognised Bachelor’s degree with 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern with Mathematics at Diploma level or Mathematics or Statistics* as one of the subjects at the degree level or A pass in any recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration (10 + 2 + 3 pattern) in any discipline with Mathematics or Statistics* as any one of the subjects.

Hello.........TANCET Exam dates for the given courses are as follows-
MBA-29/05/2011,MCA-29/05/2011 and M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan-30/05/2011.
Commencement of Registration will be from 1/04/2011 and Last date for Registration at all the co-ordinating centres (except Chennai) is 20/04/2011.
Announcement of Entrance Test Results would be somewhere around in the 3rd week of June 2011.
