Dear sir

I have completed Diploma in Textile Technology in April 2005.


Am i eligible for the MBA studying(For openmat entrance exam) ?

i am sorry to say that you are not eligible because one should be an graduate to do an mba ,

You have'nt mentioned that you have completed post graduate diploma or any else.

If you have done post graduate diploma then you are eligible for it,you must have also scored atleast 50% aggregate in your graduation.

Only the candidates who have crack cat,mat or any other type of state or national level mba entrance can get direct admission,rest of all have to appear for OPENMAT.

I think the minimum requirement for doing MBA from any place you need to pass a graduation degree or any equivqlent degree and you have done diploma which is not equivalent to the minimum requirement .

The following are the eligibility criteria :-

i) Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for General Category and 45% marks for reserved category;
OR
Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of supervisory/managerial/professional experience.

ii) Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU. The candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT and State level tests need not appear in OPENMAT.

'Student Handbook & Prospectus would be available from the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110 068 and at all Regional Centres, Study Centres, and
IGNOUARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE AND ASSAM RIFLES Recognised Regional Centres.

The candidates downloading the Form from website are required to send a Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- (Rupees five hundred fifty only) drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi. Advertisements inviting applications for MP are released in leading national and local dailies in April and October.

You need to have a bachelor's degree (3-year course) or equivalent in any discipline recognised by any Indian University / AICTE as eligible for post-graduate studies.
You can apply while you are in your final year of graduation. If you do get through the admission test, you will be given provisional admission on the condition that you provide your mark sheet and a certificate of passing by a certain date.

to do an MBA course you should be an graduate and as you are not an graduate you are not eligible for the MBA course,
you can do engineering by taking lateral entry in some engineering college and after that you can go for an MBA

yes diploma candidates are eligible for MBA exam but now its over so better study for this year and apply for it on time.

yes diploma holders are also eligible to appear for MBA

for doing MBA graduation in any subject is must other wise you can not give the exam,you have only mention that you have done diploma so you are not eligible for that.

After completing only diploma you are not eligible for the MBA.

For doing MBA you must have an undergraduate certificate.

its really sorry that diploma candidates are not eligible for MBA only those candidates are eligible who has done bachelors degree in any discipline.

dear friend , as you complete your diploma course but it is not equivalent to any graduation discipline. & for MBA minimum requirement is graduation. so kindly complete your graduation then try for MBA.
but there is a course offered by IIPM, new delhi which is just after +2.

No, the diploma holders candidates are not eligible for MBA.

Only graduate degree holders or post graduate diploma holder candidates
are eligible to apply for MBA.

So, if you are a postgraduate degree holder, then you are eligible other wise you are not eligible. If you are eligible, then you have to appear in CAT/MAT exams Or appear in IGNOU OPENMAT exams to get admission in MBA.

If you clear this entrance exams with good percentile, then you are definately get admission in MBA. So, the diploma candidates are not
eligible for get admission in MBA only post graduate diploma student

first of all you have complete your graduation then only you can apply for MBA.
after completing your graduation you have to sit for exam like CAT,MAT,XAT for getting admission to good colleges for MBA.

According to me NO diploma candidate are not eligible for MBA.
first they have to complete graduation degree then he/she will be eligible to sit for the entrance exam for getting admission to MBA

I have completed 3 years diploma in computer scince & engineering a Govt. Polytechnic & I succesfully working Indian mnc as Technical Analyst having 4.5 years of experience.
Also I completed B.tech in distance mode recently in copmputer scince.by recognized university.
1:Can i eligible appearing any regular MBA program ?
2:Also Can I also appear any GMAT/CAT/MAT test?

Sure the diploma candidate is eligible for the MBA degree but you to maintain some percentage in your diploma.

Diploma student can also do MBA degree but you have to complete any one of BE degree.

MBA can also be done by the diploma student after completing any BE degree.

Diploma candidate is not eligible for the admission in MBA degree, because a graduation is must for it. However if a candidate is having six year experience in managerial/supervisory/ professional experience are eligible to take the exam of OPENMAT .
After completing the OPENMAT exam, you will be eligible for admission in distance MBA degree.

no only three years diploma student after 10th is not eligible for MBA.

to study in MBA you must be graduate from any stream. then only you can for MBA.

Iam sorry to say that you cannot go for MBA until you are a graduate.One should be a graduate at (least) to take admission in MBA.

no sir, you cant either you should hold the any degree except diploma so at that time you will have the oppurtunity to join MBA after joining if you have commerce back ground you can handle the subjects very easily otherwise you cant.

I am very sorry to say thet the basic eligibillity critaria for MBA is graduation passed with atleast 50% of marks,and you have not this degree,please go for another stream...

i have completed my diploma in textile technology from institute of textile technology Chennai after 10. i want to know that is it equivalent to graduation.

NO.... you need to have a degree and diploma is not a degree....

Well before the eligibility criteria for appearing B.ED was that even a diploma holder could do but as of now it has changed.You need to have minimum of degree in certificate from any recognized university.You can try for it after your completion of your degree.

For the MBa studies a candidate must have the undergraduate dgree in the hand with good marks..So if you have the completed your post graduation diploma then you will be eligible for the course.

as post graduation diploma holder are equivalent to the under graduate dgree holder,so if have this degree in your hand then you are eligible otherwise not.
