I want to graduate from Arts for UPSC but I got failed in Physics in class 12 but because of 6 subject I am declared pass and Pass Certificate has been issued to me. Can I do graduation or have to give compartment exam for Physics paper?

As you have been declared Pass and have been issued passing certificate from your board of education so there is no question about your eligibility for appearing in the UPSC (officially known as Civil Services examination) as far as the educational requirement for the same examination is concerned as you have completed your graduation as well on the basis of the same Class 12th passing certificate.

So, you do not need to reappear in your Physics paper of Class 12th and pass in the same in order to be eligible for appearing in the Civil Services examination.
