Duration of B.Ed course in O.U. for year 2016?


Please tell me that what is the duration of the Bed course from O.U. for the academic year 2016? I want to know about O.U. Bed regular course duration 2016

DURATION OF B.ED COURSE

** Its duration generally lasts 1 year.

** The 1 Year of Course consists of 2 or more Semesters.

** The duration of the 1st semester can be up-to 16 weeks and 2nd semester can be of 18 weeks.

** Minimum duration for practice teaching varies form 5-6 weeks.

** Bachelor of Education Course can also be pursued through Correspondence or Distance Learning which is generally of 2 Years duration.

B.Ed course is offered for 2 years in Osmania University.
Here is the admission procedure for you,
A candidate for admission to one year B.Ed. Course has to qualify at the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (EdCET) Conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh for that academic year. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the rules in force in respect of the statutory reservation of seats under various categories of candidates.

If you want to pursue B.Ed in 2016 from an open university like IGNOU then you have to spend 2 years. You have to apply for admission when the notification is released by the respective university.

Also, for taking admission in an B.Ed correspondence mode you must have teaching experience. Without teaching experience you will not get admission in distance mode B.Ed.

The duration of B.Ed. Course offered by Osmania University (O.U.) will be of one year duration divided into two semesters.

One can get admission to one year B.Ed. course through the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (EdCET) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh for that academic year.

B.Ed is bachelor in education course. This course is very helpful in teaching section. By this course one can easily understand the way to teach and by this course one can get good salaried job in the teaching section.

The basic eligibility criteria for this course is, to have a bachelor degree course in any stream from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. The duration of this course is two years.

B.ed is Course is Bachelor in education. It is necessary to have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university with 50% marks in aggregate.

The duration of this course is two years , whether it is done by open university or by any other university.
