Educational eligibility to opt for Social Medicine and Community Health in UGC NET?

If a person has completed M.Sc Nursing with Obstetrics and Gynaecology could the person take the Social Medicine and Community Health as a subject to crack UGC NET exam?

Hello,
Yes you are eligible to apply for UGC NET exam.
As per the NTA notification, the candidates must have completed post graduation degree with more than 55% marks from UGC approved university.

You must ensure that you fulfill complete UGC NET eligibility criteria as per the norms.

As you have completed the master's, you are eligible to apply for the exam for social medicine and community subject.

UGC NET exam is also conducted in 81 subjects and the candidates are advised to apply for their post graduation subject, or its related subject only.

There is no age limit for UGC NET lectureship but age must be below 30 years for NET JRF exam.

All the best.
