Sir, I am working as a PGT English teacher for more than 5 years. I am a postgraduate in English with more than 50% marks. I have recently passed my M.Ed. with First division from Nagpur University. My age is 40 plus as of now. Can I apply for the posts of Education Officer or Deputy Education Officer?

You are eligible to apply for the post of education officer as well as deputy education officer with qualification of Master's in English and teaching experience more than 5 years. Recruitment is done by UGC at central level and state PSC at state level.

Eligibility

UGC Education Officer
You must hold master's degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and at least 5 years experience in teaching profession research or teaching administration.

Deputy Education Officer
You must hold bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
