Eligibility criteria for UGC NET and subject option availability on Chemistry?
Dear Sir, I am studying 2nd year of B.Sc with majors in Chemistry, Biology and Zoology and after completing my B.Sc I would like to do M.Sc in Chemistry. So, will I be eligible to appear for UGC NET examination once I complete the B.Sc? And, which subject option would be better in UGC NET? Is Chemistry subject option available in UGC NET?

Re: Eligibility criteria for UGC NET and subject option availability on Chemistry?
You can appear for UGC NET after completing M.Sc. in Chemistry. However, you cannot appear for UGC NET after B.Sc. course.
For appearing in UGC NET, completing post graduation course is mandatory with at least 55% marks. Also, instead of Chemistry, there is 'Chemical Sciences' subject for opting in UGC NET paper. |
