Is a msc astronomy candidate eligible for csir net phyiscal science(physics)exam

CSIR NET eligibility are :

- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

- Maximum age limit for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) is 28 years as of January, 2022

- Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years for the reserved category candidates (SC/ST/PWD) and 3 years for OBC and Non-Creamy layer.

- There is no age limit for Lectureship.

- Educational Qualification for Physical Science : Candidate must have a degree of M.SC Physics or BS-MS in Physics or any equivalent degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. 5% marks relaxation for the reserved category.
