Eligibility to join Indian Air Force through BTech course for 11th Science student?
Respected Sir/Madam, I want my son to join Indian Air Force. He is studying in 11th standard now with Science stream. After completing his 12th, he will study BTech course. So, through this course, he will be eligible to join Indian Air Force?

He can either join Indian Air Force after 12th through NDA examination or after bachelor of technology through AFCAT or CDS exam.
AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. B.Tech candidates are eligible for Flying, technical and ground duty branch. For NDA, age criteria is 16.5 to 19.5 years. The age limit for AFCAT is 20-24 years for flying branch. |

After completing class 12th with science stream a candidate is eligible to apply for NDA exam to become a officer in the Indian armed forces. So, to become a officer in the Indian air force one has to clear the NDA exam.
If he wants to apply from any bachelors degree like B.tech then he can apply for CDS and AFCAT. |
