Are there any entrance exam for Aeronautical engineering? Which are they?

Yes my friend there are many entrance exams in India for admissions into Aeronautical engineering course

Some of the most important ones are

IIT JEE
AIEEE
State CETs

IIT JEE : IIT JEE is organized everyyear to select students for their B.Tech courses. Aeronautical engineering is considered to be one of the top courses in IITs and the jobs and salary offer in IITs are just great. The best IIT or the best college in India is none other than IIT Bombay. The cutoff rank is around 1000. So to get into the IITs is kinda tough but not impossible

AIEEE : If you pass the AIEEE exam you are eligible for admission to other top colleges next to IITs. There are many NITs in India which offer AE course.

State CETs : There are some state CETs which have AE as a course. But its not available in all the states. So just check out whether your state has the faciility for AE.

Rest there are many private colleges for Aeronautical engineering which you can take admission either on the AIEEE scores or through a private entrance test

Dear friend, aeronautical engineering is a high salary job so definetely you will have to face entrance exam to enter in it. the best institutes for this course is undoutedly iit mumbai. so will have to face IIT-JEE and secure a rank atleast 900. other way you can take admission through AIEEE or individual entrance-exam conducted by the institutes.

state entrance exams - the state fronm which you belong , you can give the exam related to that state , but as far as i m cancern many states doesnt have aerounautrical engineering but you can at least apply for that ..

To be an aeronautical engineer one requires a minimum degree in the field. Very few institutions are equipped to offer this course because of its technical nature and the required facilities. As to join in aeronautical Engineering students have to write entrance examinations. Some of the important ones include IIT JEE, AIEEE and State CETs. There are many other private colleges which take either the AIEEE score or conduct their own entrance exam. Please visit the official websites of the college of your choice to get information regarding the type of entrance exam conducted by them.

The competitive exams conducted for selecting candidates from aeronautical stream are
IIT JEE,AIEEE and some of the CET conducted by individual states.

You can go through these exams and if you score well then you have to go through councelling through which you can get a seat of your desire.

There are very few colleges state wise which select through CET.So,prepare well for the exams and refer standard books.

Dear friend,

Aeronautical Engineering can be done from many engineering colleges of India.

But firstly, you should confirm that from which colleges you want to take this UG Degree of Aeronautical Engineering. There are many colleges like IITs, NITs, Deemed Universities and other Private Colleges.

If you want to do your UG course from IITs, then you will have to crack IIT-JEE exam with good rank, then only you will get admission in IITs.

For admission to NITs or Deemed Universities, you will have to crack AIEEE with good ranks.

For private colleges, you can either take directly admission in these colleges or give State Entrance test like UPSEE, MHT-CET, etc. which will be gateway to these colleges.
