Which exam we need to prepare for becoming a collector after completion of B.E course? What is the criteria required for it? Can someone please provide me the answer on this? Awaiting to get the answer soon as possible. Thank you!

You can apply for District Collector Exam to become a district collector. Exam is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility
- You must have passed bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- Your age must be between 21 to 32 years.
- Maximum Attemps : 4 times for General , 7 times for OBC

Collector means Indian Administrative Services officer. For IAS officer, you must apply for Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC. The eligibility criteria for Civil Services examination is:

>>You must have done bachelor's degree or studying in final year of bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Only passing percentage of marks is required to apply for examination.

>>The age limit for exam is 21-32 years with upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category.

There are three stages of this exam:

1. Preliminary exam.

2. Mains exam.

3. Interview.

You must clear all stages to get into this service.

The entrance exam for becoming collector is called Civil Services exam.

*Bachelor's degree in any stream from an UGC recognized university.

*21-32 years for open category and 3 years age relaxation to OBC candidate and five years to SC/ST candidate.

*Indian Citizenship is necessary.
