Actually I want to become a IPS officer so I wanted to ask you that what type of questions can come in IPS Exam? Tell me generally what comes like?

°°° The Indian police services is one of the three all Indian services of the Government of India.
The Indian Police Service examination is a part of the civil services examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission each year.

Exam pattern:

Preliminary examination

Mains exam

Interview/ Personality test

This exam is pen and paper based.

There is no separate examination for recruitment of an I.P.S Officer. Candidates have to appear and qualify in Civil Service Examination for final selection.

The examination is conducted in three stages. The three stages are Preliminary, Mains and Interview.

So, candidate have to appear and qualify in both objective and subjective stages for final selection.
