Is it good decision to switch from CBSE Board to State Board?

Sir, my daughter is studying currently in class 8th from a school affiliated to CBSE Board's curriculum. I want to get her admission in State Board for class 9th and 10th. Is it possible to switch at this stage? Will it be good for her career? What is the value of CBSE Board?

Yes, the candidate is allowed to change the board in 9th standard but both 9th and 10th standard has to be done from the same board.
Personally I would like to suggest you to continue with CBSE board because CBSE is more student friendly and comprehensive. Most of the competitive exams like Medical and Engineering are based on CBSE syllabus.
The syllabus of CBSE board is detailed and candidates get exposure to study everything with depth and they have more knowledge and are able to crack any exam.

No, it is not a good decision of yours to change the board from CBSE to state board in 9th standard. The value of both the boards is same but CBSE has more demand and is more detailed.
It would be beneficial for your child if he or she continues with CBSE board.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
