i am a second year ece student when complete my degree which type of govt job can i get?

Hello,
There are lots of opportunities in the govt.sector as well as in the private sector after B.E/B.Tech in ECE.

In the govt sector there are opportunities in BSNL (JTO),one of most sought posts,Railways,Various state vidyut nigams,ONGC,NTPC,BHEL,BEL,SAIL,GAIL and various others companies.

You can even apply for Probationary Officers posts in various banks,even though it is non technical.

Even in private sectors there will be good number of opportunities for you.

So do not worry much about the opportunities and concentrate on your studies at this point as you are in your second year only.

ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) has a bright future with respect to many things. In many public sector jobs in India, the students from ECE are highly recruited than any other group. The famous ISRO recruits students only from ECE and Mechanical.

An electronics and communication engineer (ECE) can find Job in telecommunications, IT, healthcare, manufacturing, mobile communication, internet technologies, and power electronics.

They are absorbed in many transmission industry, research establishments, and defence establishments. They are also needed in directing production processes in state run steel, petroleum, and chemical industry.

Goverment job has no critaria like those,There has some critaria like 10 passed,or 10+2 passed or graduate or PG but hane't any specific stream...
For govt survice you can apply those things and sit for exem if you passed than you get the job...

ECE students have a bright future only if they secure an aggregate of around 70%,because companies like Panasonic,Samsung,HTC recruit candidates securing 70% or above.INTEL demands 75% for recruiting.

For government sectors you just need a 60% aggregate for BSNL to get selected as a junior telecom officer,you can even get selected in ISRO if you secure an aggregate around 70%.

there are so many government sector which recruit electronics and communication engineering students. but there competition is very high as most of the student want to join in government sector.

but you may try for it. some of the government sector which recruit ECE students are

indian army etc etc.

Electronics and tele communication has a vast future ahead.
Even The circuit branches finds many jobs in Public sector undertaking i.e PSU jobs (or Governement jobs) For Example ONGC, BHEL, BSNL etc

Circuits students are even eligible for the priviate jobs like reliance, idea, air tel in tele communication field.

There are two ways or options for applying in government jobs.
One is where ECE Engineers are required and depending on the job vacancies you can apply for those posts.
The other is jobs where bachelor degrees are required and where you find lots of areas to improvise your skills, learning as well as get a good income.

as u hve mention that ur branch is ece.so u just dont think about govt jobs bcoz there are lots of jobs for ece students.such as JTO,BHEL,GAIL,civil services,indian army etc.so u just dont worried about it..u just score better in BE so that u can do best .al d best 4r ur better future

You have completed your B-TECH in ECE. But your graduation marks is must be 60% above because below mention organization have criteria is above 60% in graduation . This percentage is vary from organization to organization.

So you have many options to go like govt sector ,private sector or higher study also.

The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO ,BANK PO etc.The age limit for those organization is maximum 30 years .Age relaxation provide only for SC/ST /OBC candidate.

After you B.tech through Gate you can enter into govt companies such as:

DRDO

ISRo

BHEL

BEL.......etc

Otherwise you can go with:
