Which has more scope and opportunities between BA and B.Com?

I have completed Diploma in Electrical Engineering and now I have to take admission in BA or B.Com. So, what should I do? Which option would best between BA and B.Com? Or, any other course which would be more beneficial?

There is good career scope and job opportunities for B.Com candidates compared to BA candidates.

I don't think it is a good choice of opting for BA or B.Com course after completion of Diploma in Electrical Engineering. You are not eligible also to join both these courses.

One should have completed 10+2 to join BA or B.Com courses at Graduation level.

I suggest you to join 2nd year Engineering course in Electrical Engineering through lateral Entry scheme by cracking the Entrance Exam.

Candidates who completed Engineering after Diploma are having good job opportunities in both public sector and private sector.

As you have done Diploma in Electrical Engineering, so both the below bachelor courses are not relevant as per your diploma course education.
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)

Instead of these two, you can pursue B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. After which, you can get jobs in govt or private sector. Also, you can get admission directly in 2nd year of bachelor course through lateral entry admission.

However, if you wish to choose among B.Com or BA only, then go with B.Com Course. As it has more scope and job opportunities.

Electrical Engineering is one of the core branches of engineering. That’s why it is one of the evergreen branches. Job availability is often decent, when it comes to this field.

After completing Diploma in Electrical Engineering program, one may go for Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering. In most Degree Engineering colleges, certain percentages of seats are reserved for Diploma certificate holders.

After that, one may go for Master’s education or PG Diploma programs. M.E./M.Tech. and PG Diploma programs will enable one to specialize in disciplines within the Electrical Engineering sector.

And yeah, you can go for Bcom or BA too.
It totally based on your interest.
In your case, you have studied Mathematics in your diploma program so admission wouldn't be the problem. If subjects like finance, banking, investments or more interests you go for Bcom.

Arts degree include subjects like humanity, literature, history and more.

There is a opportunity to go for IAS or any other competitive exams too if you are dedicated to do hard work.

Good luck!
