To become an engineer after your 11th at the very first you will have to complete your 12th with PCM as your main subjects from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in each of the subjects .

Also you will have to pursue Bachelor of engineering / technology course which is a 4 year course .

For your B.E./B.tech from a college with high placement you will have to do better in the entrance examination like JEE , State engineering entrance examination , VITEEE etc. .

Now as you have asked about the AIEEE exams the first thing which i would like to clear you that the AIEEE has not merged into JEE examination since 2012 .

For cracking JEE examinations you do not have to do something extraordinary which is different from the preparation of board examinations .

You just have to practice more which you studies and try to solve more objective problems based on the pattern of same examinations .The questions in the competitive examinations are more based on the applications of topics which you study for boards .

So you can buy any books based on the objective problems but while preparing or same do not away from your board examination as marks in the same is too required too at the time of selection of students for colleges .
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?

Is it true that AIEEE pattern changes every year? What will be the pattern of this year? Are the ranks for AIEEE and AIEEE Architecture given seperately? Do we have to get the main rank list of AIEEE to get a seat in Architecture? 12 4th June 2012 12:31 PM
