Re: How to become a Judge in city High Courts?
One should have minimum qualification L.L.B. to become a high court judge. There are two ways after L.L.B. to become a high court judge. High Court judge is appointed by president of India after consulting with chief justice and state governor.
Way 1 : Through Promotion - Get L.L.B. degree. - Practice as a lawyer or advocate for a ten years. - On the basis of experience practicing as a lawyer or advocate, One can get promotion as high court judge. Way 2 : Through Higher Judicial Service Examination - Get L.L.B. degree - Practice as a lawyer or advocate for a seven years. - Apply and qualify the higher judicial service examination. |
