How to calculate overall CGPA for degree course from University of Madras?
I studied at University of Madras and my CGPA of all semester are Part I- 8.250, Part II- 7.000, Part III- 8.233 and credits in all semester Part l - 6, Part ll-6 and Part lll - 110 Part lV - 20, Part V- 1. I want to know about my overall CGPA. How can I calculate?

CGPA is obtained by dividing total number of credit points in all the semesters by the total number of credits in all the semesters.
CGPA : ∑SGPA × credits per semester , ∑Credits of all semester Credit points = credit × Grade point *When every semester has equal credits , in that case simply add all the CGPAs and divide by total number of semesters. *When every semester has different credits , thus in that case convert CGPA of every semester to the number of credits of that semester , divide this number by total number of all credits , multiply the answer by 10 which will give you overall CGPA. |
