I am about to pass my 10th and wants to become an Airplane Pilot. So, what should I do? Which stream should I choose in Intermediate and what should I study for my graduation? Is there any Diploma courses available in Airplane Pilot which I can do directly after 10th?

You cannot become Airplane pilot just after passing 10th standard.

Physics and Mathematics subject are the basics for becoming Commercial pilot. So, you will have to complete 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics first with at least 60% marks in each subject.

After completing 10+2 with PCM stream, you need to take admission in Commercial pilot training institutes of India. I have listed below some of the popular commercial pilot training institute.

Note that for taking admission in above institutes, you will have to qualify entrance test that will have following steps:

• Written Exam (contains General Knowledge, Maths, English)
• Interview
• Mental Balance, Situation Handling, Medical Test

Also, you must possess following things before applying for Commercial pilot

• A perfect eyesight
• A good familiarity with aeronautical machines
• Fluency in English
