hi....... m kangana............i have completed +1 with PCM.........now my +2 exams are in 2012 ........ i have only pcm .......now i want to become a doctor but i dont have bio..is there any option to become a doctor ,.........and i had learnt the bio of +1 and +2 ....is there any option to become doctor.....

In order to pursue courses in medical field specifically courses like MBBS, BAMS, BHMS candidate must have studied Physics Chemistry and Biology as major subjects in the +2 level. Eligible candidates has to appear for Medical Entrance Exam which is conducted by :

Medical Institutes offering the program
Directorate of Medical Education of each state
Central Board of Secondary Education [conducts AIPMT]

Candidates who have not studied Biology in the +2 level are not considered eligible for courses in Medical Science.

If i didn't take the subject of biologi in SPM,did i got consider to become doctor?Then if i take extra bio can or not ?

Hi,
You can't do MBBS if you are not a biology student .........because the person to acquire MBBS degree should have PCB as there compulsory subjects .........so you can't attempt for that.......instead you can do some other courses like Engineering.

Iam sorry to say, you can't become a Doctor, without biology in 12th std.

To do MBBS, you have to choose Biology and Maths as your group in 11th & 12th std.

Im not a biology student but i have chemistry and physics in spm. The question is can i study for doctor with the good grade in chemistry and physics?

One must have the combination of Physics,Chemistry and Biology in their 12th standard for pursuing their career in the Medical field.

Without Biology one cannot be eligible for the Medical courses like MBBS,BAMS,BHMS.


If you have PCM Physics Chemistry Mathematics then you can choose the other professional field i.e, Engineering.

You can appear for the various entrance exams conducted at the state level and the exam at the national level known as the CEET(Common Engineering Entrance Exam Test)which provides admission in the top most colleges of India based on the rank.

No,you cannot become a doctor without studying biology in 12th.To join in medicine course you must have a good knowledge about biology. And to get admission into MBBS,B.Pharmacy, etc ....you need to appear for the entrance exams which consist of physics, chemistry and biology. So,to qualify in the entrance exam you must have studied 12th with physics, chemistry and biology.
There is no alternative way to become a doctor without studying biology.

Unfortunately Biology is important if you want to become Doctor. You should have had taken it in the 11th standard if you really wanted to become doctor. Now it is not possible for you to apply for MBBS Course.

There is entrance exam to get admission for the MBBS course. All the candidates are required to clear entrance exam. It used to be NEET entrance exam which replaced all existing entrance exam. But couple of months back, Supreme Court of India cancelled NEET entrance exam.

But the point is that those who didn't complete 12th standard with Biology as one of the subjects will not be able to appear for the entrance exam which also means that there is no way to take admission for the MBBS.

Your subjects are PCM, I will recommend that instead of feeling disappointed you should think of courses that can be pursued with these subjects.

The most obvious choice will be Bachelor of Technology. There are so many branches of Engineering. I am sure you will find something that is interested. Some of the branches are:-

Aerospace

Aeronautical

Mechanical

Civil

Electrical

Automobile

Electronics and Communication

Marine


To apply for B.Tech you will have to appear for entrance exam. Joint Entrance Exam is one exam which you should apply for. JEE is being conducted now in place of AIEEE and IIT-JEE entrance exam.

JEE Eligibility

1. You need to complete 12th from recognized board.

2. PCM subjects must have been taken.

3. 3-4 years diploma holders can also appear for JEE.

4. The upper age limit is 25 years for the exam.

5. There is 5 years relaxation for SC and ST.

hello dear,

in order to pursue medical courses like mbbs, bhms, bams a candidate is supposed to have studied physics, chemistry and bio in his class 12th ,

if he has not studied the set of these subjects then he is not eligible to go for the courses,


for these courses entrance exams are to be passed which are conducted by medical council of india or cbse

yes, you can appear for mbbs if you had it in class 12th or do after class 12th if that board or university comes under the eligibility code criteria.....for more details conact on [email protected]

First i want to tell you onething that to become a doctor without the subject of biology in 12th standard is impossible, but you can make your career in medical field on the basis of 10th standard.yes,after 10th there are number of diploma cources after 10th.Therefore,you can make a career in medical field.Now, but you can be a doctor if you get prepared.

See, we learn many things from our surroundings. It can be Biology, it can be literature or it can be aesthetics. But none of such kind of education obtained from our peers or our relatives or our surroundings will count, since they don't have a formal degree. So in your case also higher education will depend upon a formal degree. Since you have PCM combination, you cannot apply for MBBS or MD courses. They require Biology as one subject combination. But if you want to do B.Sc. that is possible. B.Sc. in Biology or Botany or Biotechnology is totally possible, if you just have PCM combination for your subjects. There you would require minimum 60% in your aggregate score and after that you would just have to clear the admission test set by the college. Think about it.

Hey i am a student of second year bsc. I had taken the subjects pcm with electronics in my 12th. And in first year of bsc. i took the subjects chemistry botany and zoology. My second year subjects are chemistry and zoology. So since I have studied whatever was taught in 12th in my first and second years Can i pursue MBBS after doing bsc. in chemistry?? Or can i do biomedical engineering if not MBBS?

I have passed my 12 class with PCM in 2015 from aligarh Muslim University after that I passed biology as a single subject from UP board this year. Am I eligible for neet or not.

Repeat 10 2 using Nios board it will take your one year but you don't have to attend classes only practicals and give exams and then pursue mbbs

no you cannot become a doctor without studying biology in 12th. to join in medicine course you must have a good knowledge about biology.

You are not eligible for doing MBBS without Biology because it is a most important part of the course.
But you should do much more things like:-
-- Civil engineering
--Mechanical engineering
-- Electrical Engineering
-- Aeronautical engineering
-- Pharmacy
-- B.SC
-- Marine Engineering.

If you are intrested to entered in engineering you must appear the IIT-JEE and AIEEE entrance exam.

For eligible in entrance exam:-
-- candidate must passed 12th with PCM as a main subject
-- Candidate must have a age not more than 25 years
-- age relaxation of 5 years for reserved category
-- candidate must have minimum of 50%-60 Mark's.
