The candidates who have done their post graduation can become lecturers in government colleges. The candidates need to attend the entrance exam of NET which is conducted by the UGC. The candidates should have secured around 55% of marks during their post graduation course. The candidates can also opt for the various state eligibility tests which are conducted. Those who score high in the test can attend the interview and based on their performance they will be selected for the lecture position.

i done my master in MUSLIMHISTORY. please tell me what i do now to become a lecturer in college or university?

I am a B.Com Graduate and I aspire to become a lecturer in English in an Government College. So can I pursue MA thorugh Correpondence (Mumbai University, Kalina) and then appear for NET. I want to do this via correspondece as I am already working.
