hi.........i m neha singh i m in msc(maths) 4th sem plz tell me how can i get a govt job after doing msc(maths).

The opportunities for getting in to government jobs are plenty after completing the post graduation qualification. If you are interested in the academic field, you can apply for the NET exam. Through this, you can apply for the lectureship positions in various government colleges or universities. You can also apply for banking jobs in clerical, officer or specialist cadres as per the available vacancies in public sector banks and you have to write IBPS for that. You can also think of applying for UPSC and SSC exams to get into government departments such as Railways, Telecom, Income tax, excise etc.

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites applications from officers under the Central/State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions affiliated to Government of India or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government of Statutory or Autonomous Organizations and other Government Bodies on Promotion/ Deputation basis for the post of Dy. General Manager in the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs 7600 with Central DA pattern.
There period of deputation on selection shall be 4 years initially, which may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Competent Authority

Criteria
A degree from recognized university
Post graduate/diploma in computer science/Information Technology / Communication technology from a University/ Institute/Organization of repute or MBA with MIS/IT as major subject for ma management institute or repute.

SSC Combined Graduate level exams:
Eligibilty is Graduation pass
Age should be between 18 to 27 years


SBI PO exams
Eligibilty is Graduation pass
Age should be between 21 to 30 years


IBPS PO exams
Eligibilty is Graduation pass with minimum 60% marks
Age should be between 20 to 30 years


IBPS Clerks Exams
Eligibilty is Graduation
Age should be between 20 to 28 years


UPSC Civil Services Exams
Eligibilty is Graduation pass in any stream
Age should be between 21 and 30 years
