im doing my 3rd year eng in ECE.
also i done diploma in same.
what is way i can join the airforce as officer..

you could give the examination for that after passing the exam you are recruit for the officer post in Air force

You can join airforce through CDS, UES, FAST TRACK ENTRY SCHEME in there technical as well as logistic cadre for ground duty as well as warfare branches of IAF.

UES: it is entry scheme for graduates in flying as well as technical branches of Airforce.You have to appear for an entrance exam, interview and medical fitness test.

FAST TRACK ENTRY SCHEME: it is on campus recruitment program newly introduced by IAF.They conduct campus placement in some selected gov.institute across India.

if you want to become an pilot then i will like to inform you that you should have an perfect eye sight without any defect.
as far as getting onto air force is concerned you have to write cds exam after your graduation

the easiest way to join airforce as an officer for engineering graduate is through UES
(university entry scheme)..in this scheme airforce go in different engineering colleges for campus placement..
another way is CDS..you can join airforce through it

to join indian airforce you have to fulfill these basic criterias:

1)you should be less than 23 years old.
2)you should be medically sound.

after you fulfill these criterias you can then give the following exams to join indian airforce:

1)CDSE: it is an exam conducted for graduates by UPSC twice an year and can get more information from :

this year in monthof april air force exam forms will be avialable be updated with employment news before .... the date will be notified there only.. this year only you can fill the form as age limit will be 24 years

you can join the air force as an officer by giving the NDA exam conducted twice in a year by UPSE.

you can join air force by giving NDA exam or if you are doing any degree or diploma then you can give CDS exam and then you can go for your dream.

you can join air force as an officer by giving NDA exam after your 12th or you can appear for CDS exam after completing your graduation.

you can give CDS exam as well as can get through UES entry scheme but you must be physically fit and with that pass the interveiw for getting into the academy . the subjects are english , genral knowledge & elementary maths. you must score theminimum qualifying marks in all of them to go for the interveiw. all the best and good luck...

There are three branches in the Indian Air Force
1.Flying Branch: If a candidate is wiling to join in the flying branch, he will need to write NDA/CDS exam conducted by UPSC.

2.Technical Branch: IF a candidate is willing to join technical branch, he will need to write Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) conducted by AirForce Selection Board.

3.Ground Duty Branch: Candidate willing to join this branch needs to write Common Entrance Test (CET).

After clearing the exam for desired branch, candidate will need to undergo psychological test, group test, interview and medical test conducted by Air Force Selection Board.

After successful completion of the tests, the selected candidate will be asked to join Air Force Academy for the training.

in your situation ues,should make you direct to the post of lieutenant officer.

You can write NDA exam for this. The notification is done in the www.upsc.gov.in or you can find it in the employment news or rozgar samachar.

There are various ways through which you can join Indian Air force as an officer. There are various entry scheme such as NDA,UES,CDS etc which are the way to enter in Indian Air force as an officer. The complete details regarding the various entry scheme in Indian Air force is given below:

1.Entry in Flying Branch
MODE OF ENTRY

a.Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE)
You can take the CDS Examination conducted by UPSC to join the Flying branch. Men can join the Air Force through this mode of entry and will be given a Permanent Commission.

b.National Cadet Corps Special Entry
Air Wing Senior division 'C' Certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps can apply through this mode.

Graduate ( Three Year Course ) in any discipline from a recognised university
minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers .
Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level
BE/B.Tech student can also apply.


2.ENTRY TECHNICAL BRANCH
Mode of entry.

a.Direct Entry Scheme
Students who have completed there engineering can apply through this mode of entry.

b.University Entry Scheme (UES)
Students who are in final year can apply through this mode of entry.


Eligibility Criteria:

Age
18 to 28 years

Gender
Applicable to both men and women.

Educational Qualification :
Degree in BE/B.Tech and secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

You can in Air Force by appearing Combined Defense Service examinations/Short Service Commission exams.

Candidate should have Bachelor degree in Engineering with any stream in an recognized university.
