I am manaswini(jenny), i am interested to work as a air hostess in air lines, i want to know the others minimum qualifications are required to become a air hostess.. How can i prepare my self physically to become a air hostess.

Let me start with the basic eligibility criteria.

1. A diploma or a graduate degree in Hotel Management or Tourism management.

2. Should have the country passport for which you want to do job.

3. Minimum height- 157.5 cms

4. Eye sight- 6/6

5. Unmarried candidate

6. Fluent in English/ Hindi/ or any other foreign language.

See, the height criteria, you cannot do much about. If you do not meet the standard you won't be able to become an air hostess.

But you can definitely prepare for the fluency in English.
You can read newspaper, or take some English speaking classes.
try to develop the professional attitude and behavior in your daily life and it will help you be ahead of the other candidates.

# The profession of air hostess is liked and desired by large number of young graduates. It is most adventurous and lucrative one. It provides the opportunity of travelling around the world as well as meeting with different people at different places.

# An air hostess has to perform followings duties:

* Have to guide the passengers.
* Have to greet the passengers.
* Communicate with passenger patiently and calmly.
* Making arrangement for comfortable travel.
* and many more.

# Generally, the career term or span is around eight to ten years only. Thereafter she forced to go for official or ground duties.

# Eligibility conditions and required educational qualification:

* Must be intermediate in any stream.
* Age of the candidate must lies between 18 years to 25 years.
* Height of the candidate must be above 157.5 cm.
* Body weight should be proportionate to height.
* It is desirable that candidate should be fluent in English, Hindi, Foreign languages.
* Must have 6/6 vision in both eyes.
* Must possess the valid passport.
* Must have fair complexion and pleasing personality.
* Must be physically and medically fit in all respect.

~Height- Minimum 154.5-157.5 cm (barefeet)[Air Hostes], 170-180 cms[Flight Steward]

~Weight : Proportionate to height (Depends upon company)

~Vision : 6/24 in each eye (Normal eye sight)

~Language: National language+ least one international language..

If i have all the quality mentioned but my eye sight is not good can i get this good i wear glasses
