Well friends, i have got cgpa of 7.89 in B.E. in Andhra university. And now, i want to know my percentage, please tell me that how can I know that.

CGPA (Cumulative Grade Points Average) to percentage there is a formula.
- Firstly you need to add your 5 subjects points and divide it by 5.
- Now you need to multiply this points with 9.5.
For example: your 5 subjects points are as follows: 5, 7, 6, 5, 8, now we need to add this points 5+7+6+5+8 = 31. Now divide
31/5 = 6.2, so your CGPA points are 6.2.
6.2*9.5 = 58.9.
So your percentage is 58.9%.
This is how you convert your CGPA to percentage.

Look normally if your cgpa 7.89 is out of 10 then most of the institute multiplies the marks with 10 i.e. 7.89x10 =78.9% but for this you need to get a CGPA to Percentage Convertor Certificate from the university because while applying in recruiter, they will be asking for such certificate, if you can't produce then they will be applying their cgpa converting policy that varies from recruiter to recruiter.

So, its better request your university controller of examination to issue such certificate with a request letter from HoD which will help in issuing such certificate quickly.

You can multiply with 10 to get aggregate percentage as per au site

Hello , i have studied B.E Mechanical from 2010 to 2014 in Andhra University. I have gained overall CGPA is 6.92 (final after all subjects cleared) . How to calculate CGPA on 10 scale and what percentage gained when converted to percentage. Please help me out in this issue.

CGPA*9.5= %
Here,6.92*9.5=65.74%
