How to get admission in government colleges for Journalism?
Can I write entrance exam for Journalism to get admission in Government colleges? What should I do to get admission in Government colleges?

Journalism comes under Mass Communication. To take admission in government colleges you have to appear in entrance tests conducted by them.
Eligibility : - You must have passed senior secondary or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised board. Colleges and Criteria : - Delhi University : Must have scored at least 55% in Class 12th. - FTII, Pune : Must have a bachelor degree in any discipline. - India Institute of Mass Communication : Admission will take place through written test which will be objective in nature. - Jamia Mila : Must have scored 60% in Class 12th. - Aligarh Muslim University : Admission will take place through written test which will be objective in nature. |

Every colleges have their different admission procedure and eligibility criteria. Some of them provide direct admission or some of them through entrance tests or interviews.

You can apply for Indian Institute of Mass Communication entrance examination for admission in bachelor's degree in journalism.
Other than this examination, you can apply for Delhi University Under Graduate counselling process which is based on percentage of marks in 12th. Higher is percentage of marks better is chance of getting admission in good colleges. You can apply for other colleges like BHU, JNU etc. |
