There are Various Universities which conducts their own entrance exams for admission to their Master of Computer Application [MCA] program. SRM University offers MCA programs. In order to be eligible for the program, candidate must fullfill any of the following eligibility criteria:

• Candidate must have completed the bachelors degree program in any discipline from a recognized University with a with minimum aggregate of 60% marks with Mathematics as one of the subjects at the +2. or,
  
• Candidate must have completed B.Sc. Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as allied subjects with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks from a recognized University. or,
  
• Candidate must have completed BSc in Computer Science or Mathematics or Physics or Statistics or Applied Sciences or Information Technology or Computer Technology with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks from a recognized University.
  
• Candidate must have completed BCA or BES or B.Tech or MBA with minimum aggregate of 60% marks from a recognized University or Institute.

Admission to the program is based on performance in the Entrance Test conducted by SRM University. Candidates with valid TANCET scores are also considered.
