I want to know when forms came in 2012-2013. How i prepare for them

To become an IAS Officer you have appear/clear the prestigious Civil Services Exam(CSE).
CSE is conducted by UPSC every year to make recruitments to 24 services/posts.
After clearing CSE you can get posts like IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS,etc based on your rank in the Final Merit list.

CSE 2013 Exam notification is expected on 02.02.2013 and Prelims/CSAT exam will be held on 19.05.2013.
Forms for CSE is made available Online after exam notification is advertised.
All details and instructions are present on the UPSC website regarding filling up of forms.

Tips For preparations :
-Clear you Basic concepts by reading NCERT Books from school level.
-Devote 6-8hrs of study time for preparations.
-Read atleast 2 Good Newspapers daily like The Hindu,The Economic Times,Times of India,The Chronicle,etc.
-Allot 2hrs for newspaper reading and make notes for revision later.
-Read good magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan,Competition Sucess Refresher,etc.
-Solve previous year question papers and model test papers.
-Prepare simultaneously for Prelims Exams & Mains exams.
-Chose 2 Optional Subjects for mains exams and gain indepth knowledge.
-Manage your time properly for preparations to avoid wastage pf time.
Make a daily routine and try to follow it.
