Hi,

joining in a new field means again you have to study 4 years though you have studied 1st year subjects already.
Because its b tech process.
And again doing b tech means you are wasting 4 years.
Because civil and ece no where related. I suggest you to don't go for it.
And before getting into civil take a look at the subjects and if you find it difficult after joining again it will be a big problem for you.

Best thing is try to get interest in your present field. Atleast one topic of this field and master that field.

That's all you required!
