Re: How many hours should a student study in order to crack IIT JEE?
Dear Friend
Cracking IIT-JEE is not all about spending so many hours in preparation. Its like you got a task to perform. It depends on your capability that how much time do you take to complete the task efficiently. Your task is to cover the entire syllabus so that you can be capable of answering questions asked in that range anytime. On an average I would suggest you to be strategic while your preparation. The strategy is whatever you study in class on a particular day must complete it on the same day. Also if there is questions/numericals in the section which have studied then solve as many questions from the standard book so that whatever doubt you get you can finish it next day. Also, try to utilize the off days as much as you can. On the off days you should revise everything which you have already studied and solve some previous years questions. If you are dedicated then you will surely give all day and night to studies. Just don't push yourself much. Study till your capability and stay confident. Leave rest on fate. |

How many hours should a student study in order to crack IIT JEE? IIT-JEE is a standard exam and is considered best engineering entrance exam in india .It is misconception of student that for cracking IIT-JEE you need a long hour study like regular 7 or 8 hours. Don't try to do that but follow the below given steps to prepare accordingly: *stick to the basics .Try to understand the concept rather than memorizing it. *try to complete NCERT books first as it is the best book suggested by the best of experts . *You don't have so much time left now so focus on only those topics which you have read earlier. don't try to complete completely new things. *Take special care on time management. To avoid this practice previous year papers and sample papers as well. *Take part in online test for better preparation. Rest of all depends upon your hard work .So work hard and let's hope for the best. with regards ravik1214 |

Re: How many hours should a student study in order to crack IIT JEE?
Dear,
Let me tell you one thing that preparation for IIT is not at all one month or two months preparation. If your fundamentals are clear then you will not have much problems to crack IIT but if your fundamentals are not clear then you need to clear your doubts. You know , when you see all the students who have cleared IIT they had strong Foundations. This will also depend on how much you have put efforts in four most important classes i.e. 9 , 10 , 11 , 12. If you have worked hard in all these classes then I think you won't have problems in cracking IIT. Thanks. |

Re: How many hours should a student study in order to crack IIT JEE?
Dear friend,
For the preparation of IITJEE ,you have to be clear and enhance your concepts. Time is the factor which is decided by the rate at which you grasp the things clearly. Regular study of 5-7 hrs is sufficient if you are totally concentrated and devoted to your books . So,its ideal to practice more and more with right and appropiate basics. All the best! |

Re: How many hours should a student study in order to crack IIT JEE?
Dear friend,
Number of hours of study does not mean that after studying ..... No of hrs a student can crack the IIT JEE. It depends upon the caliber of student, that how much intelligent he is. A student who has work hard, for him less hrs are required to study daily, but the student who has not work hard, for him more hrs are required to study daily. So a last I can say it depends totally on the performance of the student. In last three months of the exam a normal student should study for at least 15 to 18 hrs daily. All the best............................ |

Re: How many hours should a student study in order to crack IIT JEE?
To crack IIT-JEE in first attempt-
1. You can study as many hours you can but in those hours Don't take study as a burden & instead of counting the hours its good for you to concentrate fully in that hours. 2. Don't stop your regular exercises for your study as a healthy body can only makes a person healthy mind. 3. Instead of taking heavy diet its better for you to take plenty of salads, fruit ,milk & juice to avoid a sleepy state. 4. Don't be panic by listening the discussions of others. 5. Its better to choose a proper guide & teacher who can solve your problems & helps you to make your syllabus completed at time. 6. Newspaper reading is must to make you aware for the current affairs. 7. Be determinate & confident in what you are. |

Not Necessarily any parameters for this
you should plan accordingly to your interest and grasping power The rank will be not depend upon How many hours you spent in preparation It depends on how many hours you perfectly utilized Before 4 months of the exam preparing for JEE for 5 hours with full of concentration brings a very good rank some of the points you must remember while preparing for the exam are you must be highly concentrated towards your goal you should know all the patter and examination procedure of the exam Make smart plans and follow accordingly You must be hardworker for the whole six months keep all attractions away from you stick to your preparation Make the best time in your preparation for your recreation and relaxation .. practice with some of the mock test to know the competition of the exam this is all about the exam preparation attitude a candidate must have Regards ~AdityA~ |

*There is nothing like how many hour you study but how much you can learn..
* There is no short cut for success * Try to solve as much as question you can practice a day and try to increase the question in next day. *Try to understand fully the question you solved that mean go as much deep you can go *in exam try to put those answers only in which you are sure as negative marking for wrong answer decrease a individual marks a lot *Be calm and cool in examination hall *stop reading before 1 hour as it may lead you in confusion...... |

Re: How many hours should a student study in order to crack IIT JEE?
dear friend,
* your thought towards cracking JEE exam is a first step for your success. *your sub-concious mind already alloted a time for the preparation,u just try to follow it keenly. * JEE exam is not at all difficult,if we study the things with clear concepts.. * studying books are done by all,and also not difficult task.. gaining knowledge regarding concepts matters in the JEE exam... * for that only IIT testing students with that exam. *according to me,studying three hours with keen concentration is highly enough to crack the exam... |

You should not worry about the hours of study.Actually you should practice what we call "EFFECTIVE STUDY". Study as much as you feel comfortable, but during these hours there should be only study and you must keep all your activities for other time. Study what is important, and that which may fetch you good marks. Do practice by writing. Use your holidays effectively. Best of luck.. |

IIT-JEE preparation required 7-8 hours per day and the preparation should be started before one or two years. More you will do hard work more you have chance to crack the exam. This is a very hard exam but if you study regular then you can get success very soon.

Re: How many hours should a student study in order to crack IIT JEE?
IIT-JEE is a very typical exam conducted by IITs jointly all over India.
Most of the students study 8-10 hours regularly to crack this IIT-JEE exam. As I have heard about Kota students, They study 8-10 hours regularly. That means they are really hard working. Also, 43% selection in IIT is from Kota only. So, I think if you really want to crack IIT-JEE, you will have to study 8-10 hours regularly. Then, only you can crack IIT-JEE exam. You must make Time Management so that you can give equal time to all subjects. |
