Sir i m from general catateroy & got 72% in 12th class from CBSE & i want to know that how many marks r required in graduation for PO exam of SBI.

For SBI bank the percentage required for General category candidate is 60% and the percentage required for SC/ST candidate is 55% in 12th standard.
And also your age must be between 18-28 years as on 1.1.2011.
And also you must have the knowledge of the language of the state applying for.

minimum 60 percentage marks are required for sbi po exam.

Min--60%

For PO exam in banks, minimum 55% aggregate marks is must.

So you should have 55% in graduation, only then you arew eligible for the exam.

As per State Bank of India, candidates belonging to general category must have scored a minimum of 60% in the +2 examination and 55% in their bachelors degree program.

U have good marks in +2 level..PO in SBI needs 60% in +2 level & 55% in graduation level 4 general category..

you should have completed your graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for Bank PO exam.

No,you are not Eligible for SBI Bank Probationary Officer Exam.

The candidate should have a minimum 60% marks In graduation.

The Age should between 21 - 30 Yrs of age at the time Appearing.

The educational qualification for sbi po should be complete on 1/6/2011. If your result is declared on or before this date and you are 21 years old or more (upto 30) can apply for this job.

Sbi has announced new vacancy of 1000 po posts. The required educational qualification as on 1.6.2011 is graduation pass from a recognized university. So there is no percentage bound of gradution exam.

The candidate should be graduate in any discipline and must score minimum60% marks in the graduation level.

But if you do not have 60% in your graduation level there are so many banks too.

You have to ensure minimum 55%-60% at graduation level to sit for the SBI exam.


You can give the SBI exam for the following posts:- clerical job, probationary officers, specialist officers and associative po's.

To give this exam you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Age should be between 21-30 years.

You should maintain minimum 60% in 10th and 12th standard and also at graduation level.

You should also be fluent in english and should have good communication skills.

Selection procedure includes written exam and interview.

Syllabus for this exam:- aptitude section, reasoning section, general awareness, general english, computer awareness and descriptive section.

P.O. - Probationary Officer, the exam for which is conducted by SBI from time to time as per their requirement.

There is absolutely no percentage of marks criteria in Graduation to apply for SBI P.O. Exam. only a pass in Graduation is sufficient.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree exam in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. The candidate should be a computer literate one.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview.
