Sir i m from general catateroy & got 72% in 12th class from CBSE & i want to know that how many marks r required in graduation for PO exam of SBI.

For SBI bank the percentage required for General category candidate is 60% and the percentage required for SC/ST candidate is 55% in 12th standard.
And also your age must be between 18-28 years as on 1.1.2011.
And also you must have the knowledge of the language of the state applying for.

minimum 60 percentage marks are required for sbi po exam.

Min--60%

For PO exam in banks, minimum 55% aggregate marks is must.

So you should have 55% in graduation, only then you arew eligible for the exam.

60%...for general.

As per State Bank of India, candidates belonging to general category must have scored a minimum of 60% in the +2 examination and 55% in their bachelors degree program.

U have good marks in +2 level..PO in SBI needs 60% in +2 level & 55% in graduation level 4 general category..

you should have completed your graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for Bank PO exam.

Educational qualifications :-
1) You need to have a Graduation degree with 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University or any equivalent examination recognized as such by the Government of India.
2) You need to have fundamental computer skill.

No,you are not Eligible for SBI Bank Probationary Officer Exam.

The candidate should have a minimum 60% marks In graduation.

The Age should between 21 - 30 Yrs of age at the time Appearing.

The educational qualification for sbi po should be complete on 1/6/2011. If your result is declared on or before this date and you are 21 years old or more (upto 30) can apply for this job.

Sbi has announced new vacancy of 1000 po posts. The required educational qualification as on 1.6.2011 is graduation pass from a recognized university. So there is no percentage bound of gradution exam.

1:you must be Indian

2:you should pass the Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized college or university

3:Age limit :
minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years for all category candidates.

No of total post:1000(SC-150, ST-75, OBC-270, GEN-505,)

1.Tier I - Preliminary Examination : Time 2 Hours

you have to appear in objective type examination conducted by the bank.
examination will consist of:

i.Reasoning Ability Test

ii.Quantitative Aptitude

iii.General Awareness/Computer Knowledge

iv.English Language

2.Tier II - Main Test : Time 3 Hours

This will be an Objective and Descriptive type examination

The objective type examination of 2 hours duration will consist of :

iv.Test of English Language


The Descriptive type examination will be a test of English knowledge that has to be done in 1 hour.

3.Tier III - Group Discussion & Interview :

Selected candidates from Tier I and II are called for Personal Interview and Group Discussion conducted by the respective Bank.
