I am B.E in mechanical final year.......What is the percentage criteria in 10th, PU and B.E for applying govt jobs......? What is the fee for application....? I have 3BG category , so how many times i can attend IES exam....?

IES stands for Indian Engineering Services Exam. This Exam is being conducted once in a year to recruit the candidates into various Engineering services like
Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Every year this is exam is going to be organized by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Here is the required eligibility criteria to give this Exam. One should have completed Graduation in Engineering from a recognized university. No minimum percentage of marks are required for the candidates in Engineering course. The candidates who have completed Engineering course with any of the stream are eligible to apply for this Exam. Age criteria : For General category : 21-30 years For OBC category : 21-33 years For SC or ST category : 21-35 years There is limit on the number of attempts for this Exam which will be Maximum of 4 times for General category Maximum of 7 times for OBC category No limit on number of attempts for SC or ST category. Have good preparation for this Exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |
