How much marks required in commerce to be eligible for UGC NET?
How many marks required in commerce to be eligible for UGC NET? Can you please give me the minimum criteria which are needed? I need to apply for the exam so can you please give me the information soon as possible. Thanks!

The acronym UGC NET stands for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test.
Requirements for UGC NET exam: Academic qualification: Master's degree from a recognized university. Minimum percentage of marks required in master's degree is 55%. There is no upper age limit for Lectureship but it is 28 years for Junior Research Fellowship. |

NET stands for the National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in a year by UGC.
Those candidates who have completed a masters degree from a recognised University are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC / ST candidates its 50% and above in masters degree. There is no age criteria. |

NET refers to National Eligibility Test and same examination is held by CBSE on the behalf of UGC for recruitment of assistant professors or JRFs ( Junior Research Fellowship ) in various universities approved by UGC.
--> As far as you are concerned about the minimum qualifications required for appearing in NET then it is as mentioned below :- * You must have the nationality of India with your age lying under 28 years for JRFs . There is no age limit for the post of assistant professor. Also age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms in case of JRF applications. * You must have completed your Master's degree ( in anyone subject of 84 subject lists available on the official link of NET ) with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. Marks relaxation of 5% is allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST or PH category. For more details regarding NET you can refer to its official link which is www.cbsenet.nic.in . |

NET ( National Eligibility Test ) and examination is conducted by CBSE under the guidance of UGC.
The eligibility to appear in examination is :- Candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university. Candidate must have scored minimum 55% aggregate or equivalent under CGPA or SGPA. There is no age limit to appear in examination for recruitment as lecturer. The UGC NET stands for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test.
Eligibility criteria for UGC NET is : 1. You must have done master's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year post graduation candidates can also apply for NET exam. 2. You need to have minimum of 55% marks in master's degree to apply for UGC NET examination. If you have less than 55% marks then you will not be eligible to apply for NET exam. |

UGC NET examination is conducted for recruitment as JRF or lecturer.
The eligibility to appear in examination is candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university with minimum 55% and relaxation for reserved category.
