Hi

NIT is the National Institute of Technology which selects candidates for the B.Tech from the AIEEE AIR (All India Rankings) .

Now NIT takes about 600 students every year in different streams of engineering. So the rankings in the AIEEE are required very high in order to get you a seat in any of the NIT's.

You must secure a rank within the top 5000 candidates in the AIEEE so that you can expect a seat in any of the NIT's and a course of your choice.
