Dear sir..
My brother is 19th and he is appering 12th in this year, side by side he is doing NCC
and he want to be part of INDIAN ARMY so plz tell me sir can he join the ARMY

There are medical and physical standards to be met for joining the Indian Army. Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the higher secondary examination and atleast, have 40% in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English. During the time of admission, he should be 17 1/2 years and must not be over 23 years of age. After or during the +2 tenure, interested candidates need to write NDA Exam for the Army wing of National Defense Academy. Candidates willing to join Indian Army through NDA Exam do not need to have studied Mathematics in the higher secondary level. There will be a compulsory paper of Mathematics in the NDA Exam, conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

Here is the necessary information that will let you to make your entry into Indian Army.

Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year to recruit the candidates into following defence services
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

The complete selection procedure would involve
NDA Exam
Interview
Medical Test

The candidate should have completed 12th class with any of the stream from a recognized college to apply for Army wing.

But to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, it is must that the candidate should have gone through Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.

Required age should be 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

The candidate should be unmarried male candidate to apply for this Exam. In addition, the candidate should be a citizen of India.

If you are about to get 19 years, then you are eligible to apply for this Exam.

If you have already crossed 19 years, then I am sorry you are not eligible to appear for this Exam.

You can apply for this Exam even though you are pursuing 10+2 also but you should be able to show the proof of passing in 12th class by the time you appear for Interview.
