How to prepare for CBI examination? Syllabus and necessary books for it?


Hello sir, I am studying BA with Social Science stream and want to become a CBI officer. Please tell me how to prepare for CBI examination? Syllabus and necessary books for it?

For the preparation of CBI Officer exam, you need to appear for SSC Exam.

It has three stages:
  • Preliminary Exam
  • Mains Exam
  • Personal Interview
Following topics would be discussed in the first stage:
  • English Comprehension
  • Numerical Aptitude
  • General Awareness
  • General Intelligence and reasoning ability

In Mains Exam, following topics would be asked:
  • Arithmetic ability
  • Statistics
  • English comprehension skills
After qualifying Mains Exam, Personal Interview will be conducted.

You may refer SSC Books for preparation of CBI recruitment.
