CSIR-UGC conducts the NET to select the candidates for Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellow and Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges. It is conducted twice a year in the month of June and December every year.
UGC NET Eligibility - You must have passed master degree with at least 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university. Candidates belong to OBC/SC/ST/PWD category or Ph.D holder will get relaxation of 5% marks. - Maximum Age Limit for JRF : 30 years for General,33 Years for LLM degree holders and 35 Years for OBC/SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates. No age limit for Lectureship.
