sir, i want to prepare for rrb(for railway assistant station master) please tell the detailed
syllabus for that and suggest me some books.

Hi,

If you Interested to become a Assistant Station Master and then you need to qualify the entrance exam.

This entrance exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board(RRB) and also RRB is inviting the applications for eligible candidates.

Eligibility:

-->candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

-->candidate age limit should be between 18 to 33 years.

Selection procedure:

Selection process is based on the PT written examination and mains written examination.

Finally interview test.

Apart from first conducted the written tests and then called for remaining tests.

Syllabus:

Syllabus is consists on the following subjects.

-->General awareness

-->English language

-->Arithmetic

-->Quantitative reasoning

Qualification required to apply for RRB Assistant Station Master Exam :-

• Your minimum education qualification should be 10+2 passed out in any discipline from recognized university/board.
• Your minimum age should be 18 years and should not be above 28 years.
• Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government norms.
• OBC candidates will get 3 years of age relaxations.
• SC and ST category candidates will get 5 years of age relaxations.
• General and OBC candidates will require 55% marks in 10+2.
• SC and ST candidates will require 50% marks in 10+2.

Exam Pattern for Assistant Station Master :-

• Total number of questions will be 100 and each questions will be of 1 marks.
• Total number of sections will be 4.
• From each section there will be 25 questions.
• Total duration of this exam will be 2 hours.

Exam sections :-

• Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning.
• Numerical ability.
• General Knowledge.
• English Grammar.
