ITI qualified candidates are eligible to join AMIE or not?


Hi, I have finished ITI (FITTER). Now, is it possible to join AMIE in MECHANICAL branch? If yes, then when and how can I apply for it? What is the application charges and annual fees structure?

ITI holders are not eligible to pursue AMIE course. So, After completion of ITI in fitter trade, you can't apply for AMIE admission. AMIE is approved as equivalent to B.E/B.Tech course by AICTE, Government of India, PSC, All State Government and UPSC.

AMIE Eligibility
You must have passed diploma in engineering in any branch from a recognized university.
OR
You must have passed B.E/B.Tech in any branch from a recognized university to apply for another branch of degree engineering to AMIE.

AMIE Fees : (Total Course Fee - Rs. 49,380/-)

1st Semester
Membership + Course Fee : Rs. 13,380/-
Exam Fee : Rs. 3000/-
2nd Semester
Admission + Materials Fee : Rs. 9000/-
Exam Fee : Rs. 3000/-
3rd Semester
Materials Fee : Rs. 4000/-
Exam Fee : Rs. 3000/-
4th Semester
Materials Fee : Rs. 1000/-
Project + Lab Fee : Rs. 10,000/-
Exam Fee : Rs. 3000/-

AMIE Application Process
- Visit the official website : www.amieindia.com
- Download the prospectus and read it carefully.
- Get print out of application form from prospectus.
- Fill the application form correctly.
- Paste your photograph and put your signature at requisite place in application form.
- Make a payment of application fee.
- Send application form along with required documents to mentioned address in application form.

Required Documents
- Attested Copy of Identity Proof
- Attested Copy of SSLC/12th Passing Certificate
- Attested Copy of Diploma Passing Certificate
- Attested Copy of Final Semester Mark sheet of Diploma
- Membership Registration Fee In the form of DD/Cheque/Net Banking Details

I have completed my ITI in electrical trade, now I want to study diploma in EEE I am eligible for this....?
