hii,I am a BE graduate in Information technology,i m bit confused between .net and java,please suggest me whether i would go for java certification or .net certification n which one is a better option for me.

.net/java

as per my view if u are good in c and c++ then u should go for java
and if u r new then go for .net

java is a core subject which requires talented and hard working person.

you just can not stop after studing java,you have to keep yourself updated with upcoming java technologies.

whereas, .net is a subject which requires creative and applicative mind.
it is not so vast or core subject,little bit of hard work and your soft skills lead you to success in this field.

both subjects have its own value and position.

so,decission is yours.

java and .net are very essential for getting placed in an IT industry but its enough if you are thorough with any one of these languages...These will surely help you to get placed in an informative environment...All the best for ur future...do well...

.net is much more useful as this is much more demanded in it sector jobs .......
if c & c++ are familier java will be easy

both of the courses is very helpfull for you as both of them is in large demand, both of the courses is are the best courses in IT field and many company prefer there qualification for this course.

java and .net both in their way are booming..but to do java you have to have the knowledge of c as well as c++...and you have to be hardworking....after completing java core you have to do advanced java i.e J2EE,J2ME etc...and you have to be got connected with the upgradation of java technology...\
but in case of .net..it is more easy in comparison with java and here you need more inovativeness and little bit of soft skill...and asp.net is now-a-days are really going well...
so it's up to you...

java certification or .net certification seems very strong right now and are highly sought after skills, If you use Java you have so many variants, eg Struts, EJB's, JSF, etc. You have others coming up other variants as well. If your applying for Java jobs, employers can be pedantic that you have the right Java skill. With .net this isn't such a problem.......

you first collect the information of the coarse which one has demand

Java and Dot net are equally good.For Java more experience is required.If you are well versed with C/C++ you can go for J2ee/J2me which is bit complicated.Dot net is easy compared to Java but dotnet requires a creative mind.Its your personal interest.You should opt for the subject in which you are comfortable

java is really good because current trend all company looking forward for open source environment world.so java oriented course give first reference.It does make your future growth well.

Hello I have completed my MCA in 2010 now I am looking for job in IT so which one will be better for me Java or .Net and which technology have more package in the market.

As a genral matter,

Though All we have studied Java,c,c ,.NET during study Time,But we do not have a confirmed confidence in any of these.If we are taking about .NET then its development tools are not open source,and require high or latest quality hw/sw.And in it we can develop applications for other OS like Redhat,Ubuntu,Android etc etc .
And if we taking about java>> It is beneficial because everyone atleast have studid c/c which is foundation to Java. It is open source. Current market have 50% java apps.


So accord to all the aspect Java Seems best and Futuristic language.

DOT NET is good. small companies always choosing DOT NET Framework Because of it is GUI. one can easily creates user interface very easily.

Java is the subject which requires hard work and Basic knowledge of c, c then it is better to opt for core java and later on J2EE and J2ME most of the Vacancies demands experience, but in .NET this is not much required and having more demands in the IT Sector in case of vacancies a normal candidate should opt this.

we cannot say that one is better than the other.

Java is purely oriented language and it is fully based on programming skills.

java is derived from c++ and it has some same features as c++.


.NET:

It is a web based stream.

where .net is also a coding stream but not like java .

Both the fields have good job scope .


in my opinion both are same.

if u do programming in c and c++ language then u should choose java lnguage.
java is a purly object oriented language as c++ language.
so if u worked on c++ language,u can easily understand the java language.
java certification have a very good value.java certification is produced by sun micrsoft.
and the other one if u have intrest in web designing then u can choose .nte language.
there are many scope for both the languages.
its depend on ur intrest
