which types of jobs avail in the army for BCA graduates?

Hello Friend,

To join Indian Army you have to fight CDS exam.

CDS exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

ELIGIBILITY FOR CDS EXAM: -

1. Pass graduation in any subject or in any engineering stream from a regonised institute / university.

2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years
for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

3. Physical Eligibility - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

a. Eye Sight = 6/6,
b. Height = 167 cms,
c. Weight: 50 Kg
d. Chest: 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

you can apply for indian army after BCA.Army is considered to be the most important part of defence of any country.
if you are interested in army you are eligible after 10+2 passing.
the BCA student apply in army any different field of computer.

we know that many computer engineer selected in army.the bca student also same future.

If you have Done Graduation with Bachelor's of Computer Application then Below are some Fields in which you can Apply for Only if you come under Age Limits i.e from 21 years to 24 years

One is CDSE i.e Combined Defense Services

For IMA i.e Indian Military academy age should be 19 years to 23 years of age. (For This you are Eligible in Educational Point of View)

For IAF i.e Indian Air force age should be 19 years to 23 years.
(Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.)

For Officer's training academy it should be 19 years to 25 years.
(Degree of a recognized University or Equivalent )

and last for Naval academy it should be 19 to 22 years.
(Degree in Engineering)


Second is SSC (NT) (men) (including Non-tech Specialist and JAG Entry)

you can definately apply for indian army after doign BCA.
If you are interested in army you are eligible after 10+2 passing.
The BCA students apply in army only in the field of computer.

After BCA why are you looking for job you should do MCA after BCA then you will easily get a good job in Indian army ......... your master degree will increase your pay scale and post.........

I am a software engineer by profession and have an experience of 8 yrs in IT industry.
I am 30 yrs old. Was just wondering if the info provided above applies to me as well! I am physically fit. If yes, how should I apply?

After graduation you can join Indian Army...
For this you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services(C.D.S) Exam...
C.D.S Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year..

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass graduation with recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam
