The online registration for TNPSC group 2 exam started from 13-june-2012 and the last date for submission of the application is 13 July 2012.

You will have to pay the cost of application but not the examination fee.

The fees has to be paid on or before 17 July 2012. The examination will be conducted on 12 August 2012 from 10 am to 1 pm

The total fees is Rs.150/- Out of this Rs.50/- will be the cost of application and Rs.100/- will be the examination fee.

In case you apply using the "One time registration system" then you will have to pay Rs.50/- But After receiving the the registration ID you will not have to pay the application fee for the next 5 Years.

The SC/ST/BC/differently abled candidates and other subjected to concession of fees will not have to pay the examination Fees it means they only have to Pay Rs.50/-

Online application procedure

You can apply online through www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net.

On the website you will find a link to apply online from there you can select the desired post

Then you can enter all the information. Just remember that you will need scanned copies of your photograph and signature for applying online.

You can pay the fee online through Net banking , credit card/debit card. You will be given registration Id and password which you must remember.

If you wish to pay the fees offline then you will have to choose the Post office or Indian bank. After submitting the application form you will be giveb an application number and password.

Then a challan will be generated. You can pay the fees offline using this challan

Just remember that the payment has to be made within 2 working days from the date of registration otherwise it will be cancelled.
