Is it legal to demand fees for issuing School Leaving Certificate?
Sir/Mam, can a private school in Haryana is allowed to demand fees for issuing School Leaving Certificate? Is it legal? Will I have to pay the required amount? Or, as an individual I can file a complain?

Generally, most of the schools does not collect any fee for issuing school leaving certificate.There should be no dues to the school viz. fees, library books, laboratory dues etc. If school is not willing to provide leaving Certificate complain to board to which school is affiliated .As per The Constitute Article (21A ) the Right to Education Act, no child should discontinue education because of the delay in issuing a TC.
