Madhyamik marks are not considered while applying for Doctor of Philosophy course.

In other words, it is of no use for PhD admission. Your marks in bachelor's degree and master's degree is considered for Phd Course.

Hi,

Madhyamik exam is regarded as 10th standard exam.So most of the entrance exams for Phd do not consider 10th marks for applying PhD.

==>Most of the reputed Institutions/university consider the Master's degree result/marks.The criteria is to have at least 55 % marks or 60% marks in Masters degree.

==>Reputed institutions like IIT ,Delhi consider to have 60 % marks in Masters degree.

==>Whereas university like West Bengal state university,Kolkata considers to have 60 % marks in Masters degree.

An eligibility criteria for PhD has been attached hereby.
