Marking scheme and passing criteria in Science subjects of B.Sc?

If someone attempt 30 marks in Zoology and 11 marks in Botany is he/she pass in Biology or not? Some students attempt 11 marks in Botany and some 25 in Zoology. Is both subjects passed? Or only one Botany or Zoology if got Zoology 30 marks and Botany 11 marks?
