No, you cannot pursue BSc in Computer Science without mathematics .

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with mathematics and computer science from a recognised University are eligible for BSc degree in Computer Science.

Age should be above 16 years.

For computer science, having studied Mathematics, one language and two other academic subjects are necessary. For Mathematics Statistics, 50% aggregate marks are a must. Maths is also compulsory for B.Sc. ... For Polymer Science, Maths along with Physics and Chemistry is mandatory. And The common subjects included in the curriculum of BSc Computer Science are:

Yes,Mathematics is a compulsory subject to apply for B.Sc Computer Science, because the colleges which offer this course look for your 12th standard total score as well as your mathematics marks.
All the colleges do have particular cut off for your total score and mathematics score, and on that basis they put up the merit lists thus selecting the candidates. The main reason behind keeping mathematics compulsory is that you have mathematics as a subject introduced in your B.Sc semesters. So in order to ensure that you don't face any difficulty in your course semesters, mathematics is kept at compulsion.

Yes. You are eligible to opt for B.Sc Computer Science though you have not studied Mathematics in your 10+2.

But you are not eligible in all the colleges. Most of the colleges will give preference for those candidates who had Mathematics subject in 10+2.

However, there are many colleges which will consider candidates from different streams also.

I would suggest you to collect the list of colleges offering B.Sc Computer Science and check with the college regarding admission process and eligibility criteria.

Most of the colleges will give direct admission to this course on the basis of score in 10+2.

Since you don't Mathematics background, it will be tough to understand the subject initially. Better you join tuition for it.

CUCET exam, which is an exam to get admission in some central universities in india, most of the questions for M.Sc CS admission is on maths. If you apply for MCA lateral entry to 3rd semester(conducted especially for B.Sc CS/IT students), most of the questions is on maths. I don’t know why but in CS, maths is compulsory one.

Check the website of Lovely Professional University. There, the requirement to join Bsc in Computer Science is simply +2. They don't require Mathematics at the +2level.

It also depends on which college/University you want to Join. For admission in some colleges, you must have studied Mathematics/ Statistics at +2.

But, there are also a number of reputed Colleges/Universities where Mathematics at +2 level is not required. I advise you to check the eligibility for the respective College/ University you wish to join.

Alternatively, if you have studied computer Science/IT at the +2 level, then it will make you eligible for admission in Bsc in some colleges, e.g Amity University. I hope that answers your question.

Mathematics is compulsory in both Senior secondary and B.Sc Computer and M.Sc. Computer

To be suitable to pursue B.Sc. (Computer Science) course, you should have completed 12th standard or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics subjects from a recognised board. Since, you have not pursued Mathematics subjects in your 12th standard with Commerce stream, you are not eligible to pursue B.Sc
