Minimum age limit for CPMT is 17 years.

Eligibility Criteria for CPMT:

Age: Candidate must be 17 years of age in the year in which he / she want to appear in Combined Pre Medical Test (CPMT) 2012.

Educational Qualification for Appearing in CPMT 2012: The candidate must have passed intermediate science (Biology Group) or equivalent examination.

To be eligible for any of the Pre Medical Test including PMT,CPMT etc., candidate must have attained the age of seventeen 17 years aon the 31st of December of the year of admission. Candidate must have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in the 12th exam. The number of Attempts one can give three.

Eligibility requirements for AIPMT Nationality: Indian States of Andhra Pradesh and J&K have opted out of this entrance examination, from the time it begun. So, students from these states are not eligible. However, students who are not domiciled in these states and not seeking admission in medical or dental colleges of these states may apply along with an affidavit to that effect. The affidavit is to be made on Rs 10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper and needs to be attested by a First Class Judicial/Metropolitan Magistrate. Minimum Age on 31st December of the year: 17 years Maximum Age on 31st December of the year: 25 years SC/ST/OBC students get relaxation of 5 years on upper age limit. CPMT Entrance Exam Qualification :

candidates must have passed 12th class examination with physics , chemistry & Biology with 50% marks & English should be preferred subject for the entrance exam
SC/ST/OBC Students should have 40% marks in 12th stands
age limit of candidates should have between 17 to 25 years

>>Candidates have to be XII passed in science stream or any equivalent examination.
>>The General category applicant must have obtained as a minimum average 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidate) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying exam and should get at least 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidate) marks in Combined Pre.Medical Test (CPMT).

Age criteria: You should complete age of 17 at the end of year in which you have taken the admission. Simply it means that if you are taking admission in the year say 2013, then in the end year (In 2013) you should be off 17 years. So we come to a conclusion that you should have an age of minimum 16 years while applying for this exam and then you will be able to complete 17 years at the end of the year, in which you are taking the admission. The maximum age of applicant should not more than 25 years.
