Information on NDA !! NDA - National Defense Academy Its an All India Entrance Examination which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) in India to recruit or intake candidates for the various wings of the Indian Defense like the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force. But before anybody can get into these, they have to pass through the recruitment procedure. So first of all one has to satisfy the following Eligibility Criteria's to be eligible to sit for the NDA exam :- 1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board like NOS, CBSE, ICSE, etc. 2. As such no minimum marks criteria is mentioned in any notification, but you should be clear pass in all the subjects 3. Candidates interested to apply in the Air Force or Navy must have studied Physics and Maths in 12th as compulsory subjects. 4. You should be a minimum 16.5 to 19 years and an unmarried male Indian citizen. 5. Physical fitness is also of utmost importance.. Once you satisfy these, then you can apply for the NDA exam. This exam is conducted twice in a year : April and August. In April it is conducted for those students who have just appeared in their board exams, and in August for those who have got their board results also. Now for this year, the registrations are already over, and the exam is on 15th April 2012 which is a Sunday. There is no particular passing marks. A cut off is decided which varies each year. The written exam consists of 2 part and cut off is decided for each part. Paper 1 is of Mathematics. The paper is of 300 marks and time allotted is 2.5 hours Paper 2 is of General Ability Test. The paper is of 600 marks and time allotted is 2.5 hours The General ability Test is further divided into 2 parts Part A is of English of 200 marks Part B is of General Knowledge of 400 marks The Papers consist of Objective type questions only. There is no qualifying percentage. The list of qualified candidates is declared but Union Public Service Commission as per the cut off. Usually more than 45% marks in each subject is required for qualifying. The qualified candidates are then called for Intelligence and Personality Test. |

There is no minimum percentage of marks required to eligible NDA exam. NDA stands for National Defence Service. This exam conducted by the union public service commission twice in a year. NDA-I NDA-II NDA has following three wings Indian Army Navy Indian Air force ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed the 12th standard from any recognized university. No minimum percentage required in 12th standard to eligible NDA exam. The final year candidates are also eligible this exam. Age limit: The age limit is between 16.5 to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for any other categories. Nationality: The candidate should be citizen of india. Gender: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible this exam. Girls are not eligible for this exam. There is no marks restrictions for the NDA(National Defence Academy)exam, NDA exam is conducted two times in every year. So if you have any less percentage of marks in your 12th standard also eligible for this exam. NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). The two exams are NDA-I and NDA-II. There two exams are conducted in every year, one is conducted in the first 6 months and another one is second 6 months. This year NDA-I exam is already over so here iam providing you the important and useful dates for upcoming exam NDA-II. Important dates for the NDA-II exam:- Date of notification:- 05-may-2012, Last date for receiving application forms:- 04-june-2012, Date of entrance exam:- 19-aug-2012, Eligibility criteria:- The candidates should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state or central board. Percentage of marks is not needed for this exam. Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years. The candidate should be physically fit. Important note:- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. There is no marks required for NDa exam.
NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY this exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.This exam have thre wings those are: 1.Indian army 2.Indian navy 3.Indian Air force ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM: 1.Candidate should complete 12th standard from a recognized university 2.Candidate should be a citizen of india. 3.Physically fit for candidate 4.Only unmarried male candidates are eligible 5.Age limit for this exam is 16.5 to 19 years. Minimum marks required for NDA is 50% aggregate marks in 12th standard + above th cutoff marks in NDA Examination.
NDA stands for National Defence Academy. If you want to get enrolled into NDA, you have to appear in the UPSC NDA examination. NDA Examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year for the recruitment of candidates into various fields of defence.
