Minimum percentage required to be eligible for TET/CTET, 2019 exam session?


Dear Sir, I have passed B.Sc with honors in Botany. I got 48% marks in honors and 53% marks in pass and aggregate percentage is 52%. Shall I be eligible for TET/CTET examination for 2019 session?

Minimum percentage required to be eligible for TET/CTET, 2019 exam session:-

Eligibility:-

Applicants must be a citizen of India tk be eligible for CTET.

There is no age restriction, however, candidates must be minimum 17 years of age.

The basic eligibility for the exam is a graduation or a 2-year diploma in elementary education with minimum 45-50% marks.

Eligibility for TET/CTET:

Paper 1.

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and past or appearing in final year of 2 year diploma in elementary education.

Paper 2.

Graduation and past or appearing in final year of 2 year diploma in elementary education.

Or

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed for appearing in 2 year Bachelor in education course.

Or

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed repairing in two year Bachelor in education, in accordance with the NCTE regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Minimum percentage required to be eligible for TET/ CTET 2019 exam session:-

The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria laid by the CBSE can apply for the CTET 2019.

Nationality:-
Only Indian nationals can apply.

Age limit:-
There is no restriction on the age limit.

Education qualification for a paper 1:-
The candidates who have completed or appearing in latest qualification(D.EI.ED / B.EI.ED / D.ED special education)
50% minimum marks in class 12th and two-year D.EI.ED
45% minimum marks in class 12th and 2 year D.EI.ED
50% minimum marks in class 12th and four years B.EI.ED
50% minimum marks in 12th and two year D.Ed (special education)
Graduation and then 2 year D.EI.ED

Educational qualification for a paper 11:-
The candidates who possess these qualifications are eligible to apply for paper 11:-
Graduation plus 2 year D.EI.ED
50% minimum marks in graduation and then one year B.Ed
45% minimum marks in graduation and then one year B.Ed in accordance with NCTE.
50% minimum marks in class 12th and then 4 year BA / B.ScED or BAED/B.ScED.
Graduation with minimum marks 50% and then one year B.Ed( special education)

Educational qualification for paper 1 and 2:-
The B.Ed qualified candidates can apply for both papers.
